With the surge in corporate cloud adoption, there has been an increase in demand for consulting and management services related to platform selection, system migration, multi-cloud management, and security protection, giving rise to cloud management services. However, the industry currently lacks unified standards and regulations, and the complexity and diversity of enterprise cloud adoption have led to a patchy quality of service, posing significant obstacles to enterprises in fully leveraging the capabilities of cloud technology.

Against this backdrop, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology took the lead in joining hands with well-known MSP companies such as Futong Cloud for multiple rounds of discussion and exchange, and through several revisions and supplementations, the "Cloud Management Service Provider Capability Requirements" series of standards were ultimately formed. During the discussion and compilation of the standards, Futong Cloud proposed its own understanding of MSP services and introduced the practice of MSP service customers, contributing to the formulation of the standards.

Futong Cloud, with "full-stack cloud management services" at its core, deeply explores the pain points of enterprise cloud adoption, providing cloud MSP services throughout the entire lifecycle of cloud adoption, including consulting, planning, migration, deployment, and operation and maintenance optimization, helping customers resolve cloud adoption concerns. Currently, Futong Cloud has numerous cloud transformation cases across various industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, retail, technology, finance, media, and education.

At the "CMP and MSP" sub-forum of the conference, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology provided an in-depth interpretation of the relevant content of the standards.

The "Cloud Management Service Provider Capability Requirements" standard is divided into three parts: "Consulting, Migration, and Management". Specifically, the consulting capability includes: enterprise basic capabilities, system assessment capabilities, and planning and design capabilities; the migration capability includes: migration planning capabilities, migration implementation capabilities, and migration verification capabilities; the management capability requirements are: multi-cloud access capabilities, resource management capabilities, operations and maintenance management capabilities, operational management capabilities, and security management capabilities. The standard evaluates the basic capabilities of domestic cloud MSPs through grading and categorization. The development of the evaluation criteria is centered around user needs, taking a neutral third-party perspective and not being tied to any specific cloud service provider, aiming to present the most authoritative and impartial industry standards.

The release of the "Cloud Management Service Provider Capability Requirements" standard not only standardizes the capabilities and services of cloud MSPs but also promotes the healthier and more regulated development of the entire cloud industry.

Providing users with higher quality MSP services and enabling enterprises to adopt cloud services without worries is the direction that Futong Cloud has been striving towards. Futong Cloud believes that only products and services that are developed from the user's perspective can truly solve the actual problems of users and promote the digital transformation and upgrading of enterprises.
