Recently, the "Deep Cultivation and Steady Progress – 2022 Digital Government Construction Empowerment Plan General (Expanded) Meeting" was successfully held. The event was organized by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (ChinaInfocomm) , and hosted by the Cloud Computing Standards and Open Source Promotion Committee and the Digital Government Construction Empowerment Plan.

The "Guiding Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of Digital Government" issued by the State Council points out that the widespread application of digital technology in government management and services will promote the optimization of government governance processes, innovation in models, and the enhancement of performance capabilities, aiming to construct a new form of digital and intelligent government operations. Accelerating the construction of a digital government, and driving the transformation of production, lifestyle, and governance through digital transformation is an important measure to advance the modernization of the national governance system and capabilities.

The "Digital Government Construction Empowerment Plan" was jointly initiated by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, along with enterprises and research institutions related to digital government. The plan aims to gather the strength of all parties, integrate high-quality resources, carry out technical research, improve the standard system, enhance the efficiency of digital government, comprehensively upgrade the level of digital governance, and promote the healthy development of the industry.
